We believe and experience that gardening is more than just growing plants. It is truly connecting with the splendour and majesty of our Creator GOD through His amazing creation.

Working with our hands in the garden provides space to step away from the pressures of modern life and see life on earth through a completely different lens and feeling.

There is something powerful and deeply healing for the human soul about working in a garden or simply sitting and listening to GOD’s creation: the singing birds, the diversity of so many plants, their colours, their beauty, and how each must be cared for differently to flourish and show its beauty and fruitfulness.

Learning about gardening goes beyond reading textbooks; it all comes to life through hands-on experience.

Women can learn practical skills that can be useful in everyday life, from planting a seed and watching it become a little, tender seedling, to growing a plant, flower or tree, or designing a little Garden of Eden using all our backyard space, both vertically and horizontally.

There is also much to discover through improving the soil, propagating plants, making compost, and learning about the benefits of each herb, leaf and fruit.

We encourage parents to spend quality time in nature and do some hands-on gardening. Together, they can plant, watch things grow, and eventually harvest what they have worked for.

GOD, who created the world and us in His own image, has also placed within us the gift to create.
